The goal of Healthy Eating For Kids food service program is to meet the nutritional needs of children “at risk” clientele to promote their health and well-being. We strongly believe that good nutrition is fundamental to children to improve their health, learning capability, and improve behavior.
We promote nutrition education and food safety. Our kitchen facility is staffed with a minimum of two certified Qualified Food Operators. Our kitchen staff attends food safety training annually to maintain the requirements and guidelines of the state and local health department. To stay true to our consumers in making sure that they are receiving a well-rounded and diverse menu, we have a nutritionist who works to ensure the integrity of the menu as well as food safety and handling within our kitchen are being committed to our programs’ Health and Wellness.
